Automate 2026, Intelligent Harmonic Joint

On 22 June, Automate 2026—the world’s most influential event in the field of automation—opened its doors in grand style at the McCormick Place exhibition centre in Chicago, USA. This four-day industry extravaganza attracted over 1,000 exhibitors and more than 50,000 trade visitors this year. Physical AI and humanoid robots were undoubtedly the stars of the show.

From Wuxi to Chicago: A Precision-Driven Transnational Spectacle

As a leading domestic company in the fields of intelligent drives and integrated joints, Juxie Intelligent completed a Series A funding round of nearly 100 million yuan in 2025, led by Ecovacs Strategic Investment, marking a new phase in both its technology and production capacity. Automate 2026 provides the perfect platform for us to showcase the capabilities of ‘Chinese precision manufacturing’ to the world.

New R48-Lite: Pushing the boundaries of ‘light, compact and sophisticated’

Designed specifically for confined spaces such as the neck and wrists of humanoid robots, this product takes ‘ultra-compact’ to the extreme: with an outer diameter of just 48 mm, a length of only 45.5 mm, and a weight as light as 0.26 kg. Despite its compact size, the R48-Lite boasts a rated torque of 5 Nm and a peak torque of 11 Nm, enabling it to effortlessly drive flexible neck movements and precise wrist gripping in robots. More importantly, we have adopted a strategy of offering excellent value for money in overseas markets as well, allowing developers abroad to undertake high-precision robotics research and development with a lower entry threshold.

In-house Full-Stack Development: Building a Comprehensive Map of Robot ‘Joints’

The range of modular joint modules showcased by Cancer Intelligence—from the R48, R58, R68 and R83 series, which cover the head, wrist and shoulder, to the R102, R120 and R120MAX series, designed to meet the high-torque requirements of the waist and hip—precisely caters to all scenarios for humanoid robots, from dexterous hands to heavy-load waist and hip joints. The entire range comes standard with high-precision 21-bit dual encoders, enabling high-precision closed-loop control of position and velocity, thereby ensuring smooth and precise robotic motion.

The confidence behind this ‘fully in-house, end-to-end development’ stems from Cancer Intelligence’s deep control over the upstream of the industrial chain. The company not only possesses the capability to independently develop core components such as harmonic reducers, frameless torque motors and drive units, but also has a complete manufacturing system spanning raw materials, heat treatment and precision machining, thereby breaking the long-standing foreign technological monopoly.

Riding the Wave of Physical AI: The ‘Hidden Champions’ Behind Humanoid Robots

This year’s Automate 2026 has sent a clear signal: Physical AI is no longer merely a concept; the hardware itself is being rolled out at an accelerating pace. In this process, high-precision, highly integrated and lightweight joint modules are precisely what determine whether Physical AI can execute tasks flawlessly in the physical world. Cancer Intelligence plays the role of a core supplier, driving the humanoid robotics industry’s transformation from ‘being able to walk’ to ‘working skilfully’.

At Automate 2026, the Juxie Intelligent stand attracted a steady stream of trade visitors seeking advice and discussing business opportunities. With its cutting-edge precision drive technology, the company provides the core power for the global humanoid robotics industry. We look forward to Chinese component manufacturers, represented by Juxie Intelligent, making an even stronger ‘Chinese voice’ heard amidst the global boom in humanoid robotics.
